I've been an entrepreneur for over 26 years, across real estate, hospitality, and automotive. A few years ago I sold most of what I'd built to spend more time with my two kids.
Now a question I hadn't expected has become impossible to ignore: how do I give my child the same opportunity my own parents gave me?
I graduated from NYU with a degree in Economics and a minor in Computer Science. My parents guided me through that process themselves — back then, there were very few counsellors with real, first-hand knowledge of US and UK university admissions.
Today that problem has flipped. There's no shortage of counsellors — there's a shortage of clarity. Too much chatter, too much word-of-mouth, too many confident opinions with too little data behind them. As my child moves from middle school toward the decisions that actually matter, I found myself needing something I couldn't find anywhere: an honest, grounded starting point.
So I built one. manzile.ai is that starting point — for my own family, and for every family asking the same question.
